오늘 새벽, 전국 곳곳에서 미세먼지 경보도 추가 발령됐습니다.
한국 환경 공단은 충북 남북, 경북 통영, 울산에도 미세먼지 주의보를 발령했습니다.
북쪽에 머물러 있던 황사가 한반도 전체를 뒤덮으면서 환경부는 그제 발령했던 황사 위기 경보 관심 단계를 어제 오전 주의 단계로 올렸습니다.
올해 들어 황사 주의 단계가 발령된 건 처음입니다.
서울과 울산, 광주, 제주 등 전국 미세먼지 농도는 어제 종일 매우 나쁨 기준치 마저 크게 웃돌아 시민 불편이 이어졌습니다.
서울에서는 프로 야구 경기가 취소됐고, 탁트인 한강 공원에서도 기침이 터져 나옵니다.
인천에서는 유치원과 학교 실외 수업을 전면 금지했고, 전국의 학교마다 자체적으로 야외 운동장 수업을 실내로 돌렸습니다.
이번 황사는 내일까지 이어질 것으로 보입니다.
정부는 노인과 어린이, 호흡기 질환자는 실외 활동을 자제하고, 성인도 외출 시 마스크를 쓰는 게 좋다고 당부했습니다.
