이번 주 일요일부터 전국적으로 장마가 시작됩니다.
제주와 남부, 중부 지방까지 거의 동시에 다소 많은 양의 비와 강풍이 예보돼 있습니다.

위성 영상을 보면, 현재 구름대가 몰려 있는 정체 전선이 대만 북쪽에서 일본 남해상까지 동서로 길게 걸쳐 있습니다.
이 정체전선은 일요일인 25일부터 한반도를향해 북상하기 시작해 제주와 남해안은 본격적인 장마철에 들어갈 전망입니다.
장마 전선 북쪽에 발달한 저기압의영향으로 일요일 늦은 밤 또는 다음 주 월요일에는 서울 등 그 밖의 지역에 전국에도 장맛비가 시작되겠습니다.
이어 월요일과 화요일에는 다시 제주와 남부 지방을 중심으로 장맛비가 오겠습니다.
다소 많은 양의 비가 내리고 바람도 강하게불 것으로 예상됩니다.
장마에 돌입하는 시기는 중부 지방의 경우평년과 비슷하지만, 남부 지방과 제주는 평년보다 각각 이틀과 엿새 늦게 시작됩니다.
올해 장마는 전국에서 거의 동시에시작되는데, 최근 50년간 전국 동시 장마는 6차례, 하루 차이 장마는 총 10차례 있었습니다.
전국 동시 장마가 이례적인 현상은 아니지만, 재작년을 비롯해 최근 늘어나는 추세라고 기상청은 설명했습니다.
오는 27일 이후에도 전국이 북태평양 고기압의 가장자리에 들면서 덥고 습한 공기가 계속 유입돼 비가 이어질가능성이 있습니다.
기상청은 본격적인 장마철을 맞아 저지대 침수 등 피해가 발생하지 않도록 철저한 대비를 당부했습니다.

The rainy season is set to begin nationwide from this Sunday. There are forecasts of a fair amount of rain and strong winds almost simultaneously in Jeju, the southern and central regions. This is reporter Ryu Hyun-jun. Looking at the satellite images, a stationary front with clouds is currently stretching from north of Taiwan to the southern sea of Japan. This stationary front will start moving north towards the Korean Peninsula from Sunday, the 25th, and it is expected that Jeju and the southern coast will enter the full-fledged rainy season. Due to the influence of the low pressure developed north of the rainy front, the rainy season will begin nationwide in Seoul and other regions late Sunday night or next Monday. Then, on Monday and Tuesday, the rainy season will return to Jeju and the southern regions. A fair amount of rain is expected to fall and the wind is expected to blow strongly. The onset of the rainy season is similar to the average year in the central region, but it starts two days and six days later than the average year in the southern region and Jeju, respectively. This year's rainy season will start almost simultaneously nationwide, and there have been six nationwide simultaneous rainy seasons and a total of ten one-day difference rainy seasons in the last 50 years. The nationwide simultaneous rainy season is not an unusual phenomenon, but the Korea Meteorological Administration explained that it has been increasing recently, including the year before last. Even after the 27th, there is a possibility that the rain will continue as hot and humid air continues to flow in as the whole country enters the edge of the North Pacific high pressure.
