경기도의 한 대단지 아파트 정문 앞에 이렇게 택배 수백 개가 쌓여 있는 이른바 택배 대란이 또 벌어지고 있습니다.
아파트 측이 주민들의 안전을 이유로 택배 차량의 지상 이용을 막자, 기사들이 앞 배송을 중단한 건데요.
그 현장을 차현진 기자가 취재했습니다.
경기도 수원의 한 대단지 아파트 정문 앞.
크기도 모양도 제각각인 택배 수백 개가 거리에 놓여 있습니다.
아파트 측이 택배 차량의 지상 이용을 막자, 기사들이 문 앞 배송을 중단하고 정문 앞에 택배를 쌓아둔 겁니다.
애기 물품이나 뭐 이런 게 많은데, 진짜 이렇게 가벼운 거는 뭐 괜찮지만 크고 무겁고 이런 것들은 진짜 어떻게 가져가야 될지. 이 아파트의 택배 대란이 일어나기 시작한 건 지난 1일.
입주자 대표 측이 보행자 안전을 이유로 소방차와 경찰차 등을 제외한 모든 차량의 지상 운행을 금지한 뒤부터입니다.
택배 차량도 예외 없이 지하 주차장을 이용하라고 안내했습니다.
택배 기사들은 반발했습니다.
이 아파트 주차장 진입구의 높이는 2.5m.
대부분의 택배 차량이 2.5m를 넘는 걸 고려하면, 주차장으로 들어가는 것조차 힘들다는 겁니다.
높이가 낮은 저상 차를 이용할 수밖에 없습니다.
하지만 기사들은 수백만 원 되는 개조 비용도 부담일 뿐 아니라, 짐칸 천장 높이도 낮아져 작업하다 다칠 우려가 크다고 말합니다.
저희는 이게 딱 섰을 때 머리가 안 닿거든요.
머리가 끝에 안 닿거든요.
그런데 이제 이게 낮아지면 고개를 숙여야되고, 허리도 부담 가고 여러모로 이제 많이 힘들죠. 그러나 아파트 관리사무소 측도 입주자 대표들과 합의한 거라며 물러서지 않고 있습니다.
택배 차량들이 이제 속도를 제어를 잘 안 하는 거예요.

애들이 언제 어디서 자전거든 튀어나와서 애들 다치면 그건 큰 사고지 않냐. 지난 2018년 정부는 지상 공간에 차가 못 다니는 아파트의 경우, 지하 주차장 높이를 최소 2.7m로 규정했습니다.
다만 법 시행 이전 건설 허가를 받은 아파트에는 적용되지 않습니다.
앞서 경기 남양주와 서울 강동구 등의 아파트 단지에서도 주민들과 택배 기사들의 갈등이 불거진 바 있습니다.
