찌는 듯한 폭염 속에서도 지친 몸을 이끌고 일해야 했던 만 29살 청년 이 허망한 죽음 이후, 이어진 회사 대표이사의 막말과 책임을 지지 않으려는 사측의 태도는 논란을 더욱 키우고 있는데요.
고 김동호 씨의 아버지가 YTN과 인터뷰를 진행했습니다.

그런데 만보기를 사망 후에 핸드폰을 잠금장치를 풀어서 봤더니 너무너무 힘든 과정들이 우리 아들 폰에 담겨 있더라고요.
그래서 너무너무 그런 것들을 보면서 가슴이 많이 아프면서 많이 울었습니다.
사망 다음 날 본사 대표하고 관계자 분들 몇 분이 오셔서 조문을 마치시고 난 다음에 직원들한테 가서 저희 동호가 원래부터 병이 있었던 것 아니냐.
그리고 또 한 분은 병이 있는데 숨기고 입사하지 않았느냐 하고 막말을 퍼부었다고 그렇게 말을 전해 들었거든요.
주차부서 직원들 진술을 듣는 과정에 김앤장 변호사가 동석했다는 소식을 들었어요.
직원들 참고인 조사 과정을 변호인이 대동하면 어떤 직원이 제대로 진술을 하겠어요.
저도 나중에 다른 직원이 진술 조사했던 직원들이 너무 불안하니까 제대로 진술을 못 했다고 미안하다고 그렇게 얘기를 했더래요.
